Slightly over-long and has some really weird rhyme schemes, but a fairly cute Christmas story. Papa Bear is kind of a jerk. ( )

This is book is a noter classic for me. It's great for the holidays for the elementary students. As a future teacher, I plan on reading every Christmas related book everyday after Thanksgiving till Winter break begins. This is great for kids to share the excitement for the kids and this story shares how important a family needs to get a Christmas tree and the Berenstein Bears will deliver that story.nAll around great book with a artwork that is timeless for the children. Lastly, Berenstein Bears books are a great American classic for any child to read. This is a picture book.

NCLA Review - As the Berenstain Bears make preparations for Christmas, Papa Bear and the cubs set out on Christmas Eve to find the perfect Christmas tree. They soon discover that trees are home to many of God's creatures and to cut one down would not be thinking of others or showing them love and respect as Matthew 7:12 teaches. The Sunday School lessons Papa had learned as a child really had stayed in his heart! Even though the Bears returned home without a Christmas tree, there was a wonderful surprise awaiting them! Written in rhyme with beautiful illustrations, this book is sure to become a Christmas favorite for all ages. Even the youngest listener will be mesmerized by the colorful pages and the older reader will be captivated by the storyline.
