This police procedural set in St Andrews was well-written and well-plotted, with the police following various lines of enquiry before getting to the bottom of things. The relationships and banter between the police officers was affectionate and light-hearted. It never ceases to amaze me how fictional characters lie to the police so easily though. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

My only criticism is more of a “How about” softening DI Mackey’s personality just a wee bit to allow herself to not have to handle every small detail personally. Sometimes it is OK to get into the office an hour later.
I totally loved the dedication - that was nothing short of brilliant.. Thank you NetGalley and Canelo Crime for a copy ( )
