Although I am 72 I wanted to read this and was totally entertained. I am giving it a high review and wish this writer so much love, success, joy, and renown for the child she allowed to come out of my old lady's shell. I am an avid reader and barely could keep up with reviewing all the books I've read. This little ditty is for parents who love to read to their children and enjoy it altogether. ( )

This is a nice book to teach kids the importance of caring for our planet. Science, ecology and adventure are blended in the storyline. I think it can be for a number of ages - older preteens and teens for reading on their own and younger if they are reading it with an adult. Adults would likely learn something too! This would also be a , with class discussions following each chapter. Clever idea for a book. I hope the author writes more in this vein. ( )

Animals Rule Club, Beware of the Seiceps by Jinny Braden is a fun little adventure story that combines science and ecology within a novel. It casts three likable young protagonists as they try to save the future of the human race. I thought the writing was well done and clever. And I especially loved the illustrations by Bill Braden that were intermingled throughout the book. I would especially recommend this for school age children and teens who have an interest in animals and the environment. I look forward to more books by this author and illustrator. ( )
