Actualmente no hay Conversaciones sobre este libro. 00009089 Shannon is a young woman who just emigrated from Ireland to San Fransisco, where her farther had been working as a doctor. This story does not follow the pattern of the other Girlhood Journeys books. In the others, the main character has an seemingly impossible aspiration that is surprisingly opened to them at the end of the book. Shannon's story focuses on her curiosity about a Chinese girl she saw while with her father in Chinatown. With a new found American friend, Shannon eventually frees Mi Ling from her servitude to Mr. Wong. Most of the characters are two dimensional and stereotypical and the pace is too fast near the end of the story. This novel is only recommended where this series is popular. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
