This is a tough one to rate. I picked it up because I trust Gillen to write any characters in a way I'll love, even if I only wanna read this series in anticipation of A.X.E.. And I really enjoyed the story, it's as well written, fun and poignant as I expect from Gillen. The narrator in particular is wonderful.

But I'm just not a fan of Ribic's art. Especially his faces. The style fits the story well enough, but I just can't get past the faces. They're odd and distorted and all look the same and just pull me out of the story. (
