Murder and death abound in this collection of stories set in the 509 area code of eastern Washington state. Murders and those who commit the crime are varied and though the outcome is death…every story is different.

There are eleven stories that are compelling and complete and all take place in under two hundred pages. It is amazing that such short stories can pack a wallop and can stay with me for longer than I thought they would. I would not want to run into Lonnie in the truck stop or become employed by Tiger at the Hope or stir a relative to murder or well…end up as many of the victims or even some of the murderers did.

This was a collection I gladly highly recommend and hope that if you choose to pick it up, you will enjoy it as much as I did.
