Perhaps better on the stage, but reading it reminds one of how ham-fisted a writer O'Neill was. ( ) This book isn't the one I have, I just have Homecoming. It is well written, my mind didn't try to get away from it, but the problem I have with writers such as O'Neill, Faulkner and Steinbeck, is that there is a thread of depravity in their books. All of man's worst qualities, with none of his good. No hope. Of course, when you examine these author's beliefs, one can see why they have no hope. When one's heart is filled with darkness, how can one have hope or see the good in the world around you. Not keeping this book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
