Psalm 91 is very inspiring. She really swelled on how to live in peace versus fear. My husband and I read this book together and had a wonderful conversation about the scriptures. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about God. ( )

This book was a definite blessing to me! After days that were long and difficult to get through, reading My God in Whom I Trust brought peace and comfort. This Bible study breaks Psalm 91 down verse by verse and section by section, giving the reader many beautiful insights, musings, and encouragement. The author includes many passages of Scripture throughout as references and cross references, and I was definitely impressed by how she answered questions I had throughout.

Overall, this is a read I would definitely recommend. This study brought me closer to the Lord (especially the last few pages!), and I feel blessed to have had a chance to read it.

Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author/publisher. All thoughts and opinions expressed are completely my own, and I was not required to leave a positive review. ( )

A pleasant treatment of Psalm 91, not especially reliant on the text, but the sentiments expressed by the author were nice to read.

March 2020 everyone’s lives dramatically changed. Ever since our world has witnessed something that has never happened in our lifetimes, and with it has come fear and uncertainty. Many of us are crying out to the Lord, the answers hard to see, compounding everything else that we normally deal with. That’s what I love about books like My God, in Whom I Trust. Reading and studying this resource helped me more than I could’ve imagined.

From the first few words I knew this was not meant to be a quick read. This is a book that you drink deeply from, ingesting slowly, allowing God to use it in His time and speak to you in His way. There are instances where the pandemic is referenced, which I think is incredibly helpful during our current global crisis. So many people are gripped with fear, no thanks in part to the media, and we all need to be reminded that “fear is bondage, and not from God.”

My God, in Whom I Trust is an incredible dissection of Psalms 91 and one that I can see myself referencing for years to come. It’s written in a language that speaks to me, and it’s actually a quick read if you were to read it straight through, but there is so much depth in the simplicity.

I cannot recommend enough! This is a message we all need to hear, no matter what your situation. ( )
