A delightfully unique story! I really enjoyed it! In the first chapter of the book, children are taught, in a fun way, how to set the table. I loved the alliterative names for the utensils - Forkman, Natalie Napkin, Clara Cup, Pete the Plate, SpoonDude, and Knifeguy.

Then in the second chapter, Kathryn and William learn to clean up after the meal with the help of their friend Forkman. They clear the table, put away the food, clear the scraps, clean the dishes, wipe the table using Sarah Sponge, and sweep the floor using Brittney the Broom. They realize that by working together, they were able to put everything away in no time.

The illustrations are bright and fun! The caped Forkman saves the day!
