There's a lack of depth in the characters, but then again whoever who picks up this book is surely not one expecting such. This is as said by several comments - Hardy Boys meet Indiana Jones. The good part is that the leads are gays - hot, studly gays. I think sometimes there are way too many characters to remember to follow the flow properly. Still, I appreciate a story that is not merely boy-meets-boy but with adventures. ( )
