It has several nighttime poems about things that are in the sky at night like the moon, stars, and sounds you hear at night. The poems are very easy and most of the poems rhyme. You can also use this book when teaching language it has a lot of metaphors and personification. ( ) This is the perfect poetry book to read to children when learning about personification. One of the first things I noticed about this book was that the lines rhyme and that is something that children will pick up on also. I loved how the book flowed so well and it was easy to understand even though it is still poetry. This could be a good book to read to students when learning about personification and what does it mean to personify something. I loved how the book incorporated this into it to make it different and a way for children to learn. This book personifies the moon, stars, and mountains. While reading the book, children can see that now the moon, and the stars, etc. have feelings. I think this also goes back to the question of why authors use language for effect. They use rhyme, scheme, meter, and word sounds in their books to in a way stir up strong feelings for the reader. Still As A Star is a book with a collection of poems about nighttime and bedtime. I think this is a great book for children. Most of the poems have rhyming lines. The words are descriptive painting pictures to those who are reading. There are a lot of metaphors and personification. The personification of the moon, stars, and mountains in different poems really makes the poems come alive. These poems are easy to understand for all ages. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
