Miss Fox rides her bike to school one day, and one of her students asks why she did that. She explains she is trying to help the Earth. This message gets around to all the students around the school, and everyone does a little something to their life to help conserve and preserve the Earth. Although the characters are talking animals, the realistic part is that we should all do a little bit more to help out the Earth. Genre: Fantasy Fiction Age Appropriateness: Primary Review/Critique: Miss Fox shows up to school one day, but she is on her bike. This surprises her class and this leads them to discuss how they can all can go green. After many suggestions, the class comes up with some realistic options and then they get to put to use their knowledge throughout the week. They all get very excited, and towards the end they have helped the whole school go green! This book is really great fantasy fiction. The story's characters are all characterized animals. The way they live and the setting are both very realistic, and the details in the pictures add to the realism. This book is relatable to students as many of the students' conflicts in the book are present within a child's life. I really also appreciate how the children find realistic ways to go green instead of going to extremes. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
