A decent page turner, that's ultimately forgettable - would make a good beach or commute/flight read if you need one. There are more dives into Imogens head than the last book. It does continue the story arc started in book one, while having it's own investigative adventure. I love that there is an over arcing problem that won't be solved but will continue to burden Imogen instead of the book wrapping up peachy keen. Erin does a fabulous job of world building, I love the magical world she has created within our own and can't wait to discover more about the different kingdoms and how the world politics operate.
