Fiction. Suspense. Thriller. HTML:

The New York Times bestselling author of Elevator Pitch and master of psychological suspense returns with a riveting thriller in which the possible heirs of a dying tech millionaire are mysteriously being eliminated, one by one.

"Find You First starts with a bang and ends with an even bigger one. . . . It's the best book of his career." â?? Stephen King

Tech millionaire Miles Cookson has more money than he can ever spend, and everything he could dream ofâ??except time. He has recently been diagnosed with a terminal illness, and there is a fifty percent chance that it can be passed on to the next generation. For Miles, this means taking a long hard look at his past . . .

Two decades ago, a young, struggling Miles was a sperm donor. Somewhere out there, he has kidsâ??nine of them. And they might be about to inherit both the good and the bad from himâ??maybe his fortune, or maybe something much worse.

As Miles begins to search for the children he's never known, aspiring film documentarian Chloe Swanson embarks on a quest to find her biological father, armed with the knowledge that twenty-two years ago, her mother used a New York sperm bank to become pregnant.

When Miles and Chloe eventually connect, their excitement at finding each other is overshadowed by a series of mysterious and terrifying events. One by one, Miles's other potential heirs are vanishingâ??every trace of them wiped, like they never existed at all.

Who is the vicious killerâ??another heir methodically erasing rivals? Or is something even more sinister going on?

It's a deadly race again… (más)

Terrific read. You are a Billionaire, forty-two years old, have no children, and are diagnosed with terminal illness. There is a 50 % chance that it can passed on to the next generation. What do you do? Twenty-some years ago you donated sperm for money. This is his search to find any biological children he may have. What transpires when he finds them becomes a terrifying story. What people will do for money? What people will do to extend their lives? ( )

Like another reviewer, this was my first Linwood Barclay book also. Completely agree this was a unique blend of entertaining and preposterous and spun off the plot rails at the end. It would be fun to watch this as a 'movie' produced by Netflix (or for that matter, as a Lifetime movie).

On the fence about whether to try another Barclay and see if this is typical or to assume it is and skip it. A decent page turner, that's ultimately forgettable - would make a good beach or commute/flight read if you need one. ( )

Imogen, Maple, Sam and Iggy are back for another adventure! This is the second book in the series, but it is stand alone for the most part. By reading the first you will get more in depth information on the world Erin has created, and the characters but this book will stand alone if it is the first you are picking up.

Compared to book 1, this one reads more like a journal entry if that makes sense? There are more dives into Imogens head than the last book.

It does continue the story arc started in book one, while having it's own investigative adventure. I love that there is an over arcing problem that won't be solved but will continue to burden Imogen instead of the book wrapping up peachy keen.

Erin does a fabulous job of world building, I love the magical world she has created within our own and can't wait to discover more about the different kingdoms and how the world politics operate. ( )
