CURIOUS GEORGE VISITS AN AMUSEMENT PARK by H.A Rey and Margret Rey is an imaginary story that gets children to express their imagination side of things because they are reading about a monkey that goes on roller coasters at an amusement park. The man in the yellow hat and his pet monkey decide to go to an amusement park for the day, which would never work in today's world because animals would not be allowed to ride anything. They enter the park and right away the monkey George gets into trouble because he hands tickets to people who have not paid to get into the park. His owner in the yellow hat gets mad and yells at him. There is also a good side of the monkey when he retrieves a woman's purse when it fell out during a ride. Overall this story shows the good and bad of monkeys. This could be used in a classroom to explain the good and bad of animals when they are in human habitats. The illustrations in this story represent an older, simpler kind of illustration which gives the reader a quick lookup to get a visual in their head as they read. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
