In this book, Forkman is teaching the children to load the dishwasher properly and proper manners at the table. In chapter 3, I love the way Forkman teaches to load the dishwasher, putting each piece in its proper place. In chapter 4, Forkman is teaching the right manners at the table. No burping or other rude noises! What a great way to use eating utensils to teach our children the right things to do in helping in the kitchen and using our best manners while at table eating with the family. I like the emphasis on how meals are a family time where family can talk about things important to them. And the illustrations created by Vanessa Alexandre are so adorable. I love the characters, the family, the vivid colors, all fit so well and work perfectly with the story that’s written. The faces are so cute that smaller children will love looking at the pictures throughout the book. All in all this is a wonderful book inside and out. And I give this one Five Stars! This book and all of the books in the Adventures of Forkman are a must in you child’s home library. It is well worth your purchase. A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255. This is such a cute story that teaches children how to be polite. The first part teaches children how to load a dishwasher and the second half teaches children about what noises are not polite to do at the dinner table. I love the illustrations and the story. I believe that young children will enjoy having this read to them or they can try to read it to themselves. I received a copy of this book from ireadbooktours for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will. The Adventures of Forkman: What's That Noise? is a great children's picture book about mealtime etiquette and clean-up. It is a great way to instruct a child in properly loading a dishwasher, plus, good table manners. It is a great book for young pre-school and elementary age readers. The illustrations done by Vanessa Alexandre are large, colorful and simple in a slightly abstract way. The Cover image and Title are eye-catching and somewhat "fitting". However the Title does not offer a clear idea of what is withing te pages. What I found slightly confusing is, that the book begins with Chapter 3. It can be confusing to the reader, wondering where the missing chapters are. Also, personally, I am not fond of cartoon-like depictions of characters. - However, this does not affect my rating of the book. * This book was gifted to me with no pressure for a positive review. This is my honest review. The Adventures of Forkman: What's that Noise? Is a fun book for young readers by Tiffany Caldwell and W.R. MacKenizie. It, also, continues after A Children's Book of Etiquette: The Adventures of Forkman. It was confusing at first when this one begins with Chapter 3 but then realized that it followed the first book and was part of a series. Even though it is, it can be easily followed as to what had happened previously. It is a great story and a perfect teaching tool for young readers. They can learn about proper table etiquette and what to do after the meal is over. It is a great practice for all to learn about cleaning up afterwards and being helpful in the kitchen. I know many children young and old who could learn this lesson and a perfect reminder for my own children. The Adventures of Forkman: What's that Noise? includes illustrations by the talented Vanessa Alexandre. The pictures perfectly bring the story to life and helped keep my children entertained. The Adventures of Forkman: What's that Noise? will be getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it for readers who have children between the ages of four and eight years old. I would love to see more The Adventures of Forkman books in the future. I received The Adventures of Forkman: What's that Noise? from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
