This book is a great book to talk about feelings that kids may have while growing up and figuring out who they are. ( ) Annual Goodreads Choice Awards reading project: Read all the Picture Book nominees! (15 of 20) More an activity book than a picture book for me. Each page features a nonsensical rhyme about an animal and a generic moral that were all very boring to read. More interesting was finding the letters hidden on each page and figuring out the musical instrument they spelled out, but by the end of the book -- which felt like a half hour or more later -- I grew bored of that also and just wanted to be done, especially when one last cryptogram was offered up on the last page in the author's note.
