This series is filled to the brim with southern charm and good feelings, even if a dead body or two will show up at some time. Well, you can’t have everything! There is a car show in town, and one of the car owners ends up murdered. Mae and the Laundry Ladies are determined to find out who among the many suspects did the deed. It’s a good mystery, made even better by the delightful cast of characters. ( )

I love this cozy mystery. I love Mae and Hank and Fifi. I think my favorite secondary character is Dottie. She reminds me of the crazy lady you always hear about in small towns. This newest book in the series gets back into some of Mae’s past and I hope we get to learn even more in future stories. I always love the descriptions of the Daniel Boone National Forest. I received a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will. ( )
