Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. This book is a must-have for anyone who has a child with sensory processing disorders or someone who works with them. It focuses on morning routines, mealtime routines, bedtime routines, holidays, school routines, and social issues. A very helpful book Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. Another book I'm adding to my arsenal of books to help me with my 13 year old daughter with SPD. I must admit that I've read so many books on SPD that this one didn't bring many new insights or helps. I do appreciate the specific activities though, and the way the book lays out a plan for parents doing their own therapy at home with their kiddos (myself included during the past 9 months of Covid). There is plenty of information about sensory processing disorders and resources throughout the book. I was incredibly impressed with the activities and straight forward interventions that parents can easily implement. They are organized by settings which allows parents to easily locate pertinent information. This is a very handy, easy-to- read and practical resource. The parents were very moved, and already have praised the book for wonderful tips on handling their 12-year-old autistic son. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
