In 1964, Geraldine Waters gets pregnant, and has to decide how she's going to deal with that. Many years later, she has to decide how to respond when the long-delayed consequences of her decision reach her. It's difficult to say much else without major spoilers. However, this is an interesting look at how social standards and expectations since then have changed. A short, interesting read or listen, with some room for thought and reflection. I received this story as part of the Audible Originals program, and am reviewing it voluntarily. Telling of a Life Review of the Amazon Original Kindle eBook (September 2020) This was a beautiful short story that takes a sweeping view of a woman's life from the time of her unwanted teenage pregnancy to a surprise towards the end of life revelation. It builds very effective suspense and drama throughout. This Telling is one of seven Amazon Kindle eBooks released September 1, 2020 as part of their Amazon Original Out of Line collection of short stories about women taking control. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

The point of the story is on the last page. The whole story leads to that concept, and it could be any story. For me, this story was generic and not particularly interesting, nor was the process of getting to the end point, even though the point is interesting and thought-provoking.
