From start to finish the stories of these kids encouraged and inspired me to do my best. To think that kids that young have suffered much brought sadness to my heart. It gave me hope and courage to face tomorrow without doubts, and to see things like a child would; full of innocence, love and hope. When I think about the stories of these kids, I feel like a child again. I regret those times that I haven't enjoyed my childhood that much. The comics on this book made me laugh too. I highly recommend this book that will surely bring you happiness, courage, hoe and love. "Kid Power in Action! Kids wanted a Chicken Soup book of their own, so here it is! Chicken Soup for the Kid's Soul is for kids ages nine through thirteen, and it's ""all that!"" Sometimes you feel like life is a total blast, from scoring the winning goal to hanging out with your friends. Yet other times, life is too complicated: You seem to see violence everywhere you turn, more parents are getting divorced, your best friend moves away, or you feel like you don't fit in. Now there's a place to find answers and encouragement and to help you realize that your dreams really can come true. With funny stories about friendship and family, and serious stories about heroic kids and difficult choices, this book will make you laugh, cry, think, and feel good about yourself." sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

This by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Patty Hansen, and Irene Dunlap with short stories by many people like Shaquille O'neal, Roald Dahl, and Chuck Norris. The book helps children to find help to all of life's complicated matters like death, like in tough stuff it talks about abuse and violence and drugs.
To all of these sad stories there are funny ones that make you happy and there are little comic strips every couple of stories mostly from Family Circus for a little giggle. I really enjoyed reading this and I felt a bit more whole when I finished this Book
