This is my favourite Christmas read for 2021. Emma, Grayson and Derek are an adorable trio. The love between them is clear, even before the crossing of any boundaries (and swords).

The angst they feel over changes in their relationship is overblown, but not unreasonably so - while I've never had an experience remotely like theirs in this book, I'm intimately acquainted with the mountains-from-molehills principle under which a problem becomes seemingly insurmountable when you're stuck in it, even when the solution is obvious and easily achieved.

Great friends, great love, great sex and a great future to look forward to. Where do I sign up? ( )

As I said in my update, I liked the setup for this story more than I liked it in book one. This was very steamy once again and I definitely do think this is the Katee Robert's series with the most smut. Really enjoying these and how fun and fast they are to read. Don't go into any of these expecting much plot but I did like the emotional aspect of this story. ( )

This book is HOT, HOT from the first page until the last one. Katee Robert knows how to write steamy books. I was pleasantly surprised by how much heart and intimacy included and the non-stop sexy times. Emma and Grayson have a great marriage -- they love each other deeply, they have an active and exciting sex life, and a strong friendship with Grayson's college friend Derek. I loved seeing these three explore each other, not just physically but also emotionally. I also loved all the communication between the characters, especially Emma and Grayson.
I liked the relationship between Emma and Grayson and how comfortable they were with each other. Katee really outdid herself with her writing on this one. ( )
