The delightful childrens author comes back with an age old story - a supposably haunted house and witch in the neighborhood who all the children fear. Of course most, George included, leave Harriet behind in fear when she twists her ankle. Brave, right? Escorted by the "witch", there's a bizarre drawing of Harriet holding the cat while and saying the cat was curled up under the sun through the window. In the picture illustration, it is clearly night outside? Oh well. If you have children I recommend this author and series for fun and to get them into reading. ( )
