This book is important and valuable for students because they often don't understand or see a point in learning math this book will give them insight of the real world relating to math. ( )

I think this is a great book that details all the important things that we use math for, such as making music, tracking time, and architecture . Growing up I was never interested in math because I always figured that I would never need it in any part of my life, this book is a great book for proving me wrong. I think this is a great book to have in your classroom because it can help you engage your students in math concepts that may be difficult, and create more interest in all the things math is used for. I like this book because it shows several real-world examples of how math is used in day-to-day life. This book has timelines throughout the book of how math has progressed over the years. There is not a main character in this book, each page covers many different examples of how math is used. This is a good book for students to have if they are doing a project or if they're learning about how math is used. ( )

This is an awesome book to use to explain complicated mathematical processes with simple everyday scenarios. This non-fiction book is beautifully illustrated and ranges in topic from counting and number sequences to probability and statistics and everything mathematical in between. Teachers and parents can use this book to help explain “when will I ever need to use this?” Children, and adults alike, can find useful tips in this book like how to become a trillionaire! This would be a great resource for a math classroom to be able to refer to when beginning a new topic, or for the students to browse through to find interesting concepts they wish to pursue further. I highly recommend this book! ( )
