What I think you should know: Killer Harvest by Tanya Stowe is a contemporary suspense from Harlequin’s Love Inspired Suspense. Bioterrorist are seeking a formula that has the ability to wipe out plant life, and nothing will stop them from getting it. What I think about this book: If you are not already a Tanya Stowe fan, this would be a great place to start! Stowe has delivered another action packed suspense. This is a great book with enough action and mystery that kept me turning the page, but not some much that I had to sleep with a baseball bat. I loved that the plot involved bioterrorism, I didn’t feel like I had read the story 100 times. Sassa, described as Sassy Sassa is the perfect heroine, she is strong, smart, determined and compassionate. Jared was a great lead, he was strong and willing to change. I enjoyed this book so much and can’t wait to read more from Stowe. I received a complimentary copy for this book from Celebrate Lit, this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own. Tanya Stowe’s Killer Harvest revolves around a fast-acting plant virus and its deadly implications. As biologist Sassa Nilsson and border patrol agent Jared De Luca find themselves amidst the dangerous drama, will they run out of time before stopping the unthinkable from happening? Murder, bioterrorism, the fate of the world—plus an adorable baby and superb romantic chemistry… Killer Harvest blends it all so well, and the story it shares is immensely fun and suspense. I enjoyed reading it and recommend it to fans of the genre. I received a complimentary copy of this book and the opportunity to provide an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review, and all the opinions I have expressed are my own. I love a book with a strong and intelligent heroine who knows her mind. In Killer Harvest, Sassa Nilsson is just that. Even though someone is after her, she is fiercely protective of her daughter and doesn’t give up on the task set before her. Add in a border patrol agent who melts with a certain baby in his arms, and yeah, I’m a goner. While Tanya Stowe’s newest release isn’t as intense as many of the Love Inspired Suspense books, the pacing never gets bogged down and I enjoyed the larger focus on the relationship between Jared and Sassa. The attention to the details of the personal interactions made the happily ever after that much sweeter and I didn’t wonder whether these two would make it after the danger and adrenaline were gone. The setting and the plot are memorable and unique too, making this book a well-developed romantic suspense that I could have kept on reading. Disclosure statement: I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own. "It was a pathogen. A virus that kills plants. It had multiplied with nothing to feed on.... Airborne, it could travel the world and kill every living plant in its path." Not long ago a book about bio-terrorism might have seemed unrealistic but this new book by Tanya Stowe seems very plausible in today's society. Biologist Sassa Nilsson and a Border Patrol Agent find themselves in a deadly race to stop a crop virus that would destroy the world's food chain and they are involved in intrigue and extreme danger all of the way. Sassa is a brilliant scientist and a divorced mother who has learned to stand on her own but she may have to accept protection for her and her little girl. Can Jared De Luca keep them safe as he and Sassa try to discover the terrorist's identity? is it possible for two deeply scarred people to find happiness again? Will Sassa's deep faith prove a beacon for Jared's faltering belief? Author Tanya Stowe kept me guessing as I joined Sassa and Jared in their non-stop efforts to identity the bad guys....and I do mean bad! If you enjoy romantic suspense and faith-based fiction, you will certainly enjoy Killer Harvest! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author via Celebrate Lit. A positive review was not required and I am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
