This story is about a silver fish who is getting ready for a big school race with its team mates. They all take the shark bus into school and although nervous, find a way to be prepared for the race; “Close your eyes, and then take a deep breath. Count to ten.” This comes in handy when the silver fish loses its first place in the race but a team mate reminds it to continue and they do get second place.
Cute short story with a message that winning is not everything.
