Immortal Angel Argeneau, Book 31 I Picked Up This Book Because: Continue the series. Media Type: Audiobook Source: Scribd Dates Read: 11/30/20 - 12/03/20 Stars: 4 The Characters: Ildaria Garcia: Joshua “GG” James Simpson Guiscard: The Story: I was going to write out a long synopsis but then I remembered I’m lazy. So with that being said I loved GG. He’s the blueprint, okay maybe I don’t want the giant green Mohawk but otherwise he’s the blueprint. Patient, loving, kind, yes I want all of that. I love Ildaria. She is not about to take any nonsense for herself or for others. And of course Marguerite knows they’ll be perfect for each other. I know Ildaria and Joshua have their work cut out for them where healing is concerned but I think together they can do it. I really loved seeing so many past characters in this story. It’s always great to revisit and I hope we continue to be able to in the future. The Random Thoughts: I need a Marguerite in my life. I've loved this author and all of her different series since she first came to my attention years ago, so I was delighted to receive this book as an ARC. Even though there are 30 books ahead of this one, you really don't need to read them all to get into this one. But I suggest that if you like this one, do read the whole series to see how the author has developed her series over time. This was a great book with well-developed characters, plotlines, and a shocking twist at the end. I do so love strong women characters that aren't afraid to show a bit of softness. This book really did it for me, and that means the next chance I get, I'm going to be re-reading it as well as the rest of the series. *ARC supplied by the publisher and author for an unbiased review. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

For almost two centuries, Ildaria Garcia has been on the run, a trouble magnet with a knack for taking down bad guys. Lately, her vigilante tendencies have drawn unwelcome attention to her fellow Immortals. Forced to relocate, Ildaria is supposed to lay low in a new town. Instead, she quickly entangles herself with six and a half feet of muscular, tattooed trouble. Joshua James Simpson Guiscard, aka G.G., knows a lot about Immortals, enough to make him wary. Yet from the moment Ildaria walks into his club, he feels desire stronger than anything he's known. Accepting the fact that they might be life mates is disconcerting. But when her past catches up to them, G.G. faces a choice, confront his demons at last, or lose a passion that's hot as hell. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

I've enjoyed the Argeneau series immensely, I worried that eventually Lynsay Sands would start to make her books to stereotypical and predictable. However I found while reading Immortal Angel that Lynsay Sands seems to take pleasure in making her characters new and original. She creates backgrounds and histories for each one of them. I found that I'm interested in hearing about what is going to happen to each one of them.
This contribution to the series follows GG, who we've met before as the owner of the immortal bar, and Ildaria Garcia who we met as one of Vasco's crewmates in book number 28 - "Vampires Like it Hot". Ildaria was accidently turned almost 200 years ago and has been on the run ever since. When Ildaria meets GG neither one of them was looking for a relationship. Both of them have things in their past that could keep them from being truly happy. However could they each be the answer to fulfilling each others needs?
The only reason for its 4 stars is I'm disappointed in the ending, I felt it was a little rushed but overall it was still an enjoyable read! ( )
