A lot of people like Kevin Henkes. I find myself on the fence about him. Especially this book. Man, it is okay. Just BARELY okay.

The illustrations of the elephants are cute. I like the opposites used (over/under, in/out). But honestly, that's it.

I remember that I did indeed try this in a storytime and it just did not work out. (
