The writing was a bit uncoordinated and the illustrations were nice. That's it. 2.5 rounded up to 3. ( ) "Did you know that long ago, at the moment they were born, everyone in this world so wide was once the youngest person alive? Even me? Even you." Soft digital illustrations pair with the poem-like text, which tells the story of a new baby being joyfully welcomed to two parents (white man, brown-skinned woman). This would be a wonderful gift book for parents expecting a baby, whether it's their first or their tenth - because it celebrates everyone who was ever a baby, or might welcome one in their turn one day. Lovely. See also: Nine Months by Miranda Paul and Jason Chin sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
"Somewhere in the world the world so far the world so wide someone is the youngest person alive. What will be the first sights they see? Sun and moon and sky... the love in someone's eye? From the magic of a baby's first sights and sounds to a wish for a far-off day, evocative text and gorgeous illustrations are imbued with the tenderness felt between parents and child. A perfect gift for new mothers and fathers and anyone who cherishes those unforgettable moments--or dreams of a time when their children will see their own little ones smile at them for the first time."--Amazon.
