This book would not be ideal for identification, because the pictures are all photographs and very variable. Sometimes they only include part of the plant, and sometimes they are of the whole plant. There are also no descriptions of the plants. There is, however, a lot of information about medicinal uses of plants. There are both common uses and historical uses. There are also warnings. I appreciate that plants that are too dangerous to use are listed with the history of use and explanations of why they are not safe to use currently. ( )
