Eh. It's 365 suggestions for reducing waste, particularly plastic waste. Some of it is Australia-specific, though she does try to include options from other countries - but I think bulk stores (which make up a large chunk of her suggestions) aren't quite the same thing here in the US. Similarly for various other resources she suggests. I got some useful ideas out of it - recipes for cleaning and beauty items, some books about container gardening, ideas and options - but not a huge lot. Particularly in the last couple sections, she makes a _lot_ of suggestions for evangelizing - most of which would make me want to avoid the person who took every conversation as an opportunity to proselytize about avoiding plastic etc. I certainly wouldn't _do_ them. I do like her comments, interspersed, about every little bit helps, and do what you can, and if you mess up notice and do better next time (rather than beating up on yourself as having failed). Still - not really aimed at me, despite the fact I already do quite a few of the things she suggests. ( )
