Very quick biography by Aaron Fricke, a very smart guy who fought for his rights to take his date to prom. Aaron has a very delightful writing voice and manages to gracefully tell his own story with a distinct voice. I have a lot of respect for him. ( ) Good book on a boy coming to terms with his sexuality and take a male date to his senior prom in the 1980's. He starts with his precocious childhood in elementary school and then his alienation from his former playmates as they all grow into their teens. He uses food as solace and finds a friend who he never actually meets over the phone whom he calls the clicker as that's the only way she communicated with him at first. His coming out during his Senior year in high school and his eventual lawsuit to bring a male date to his prom. Short but very well written and was a true milestone for the time it was written. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
