It was so funny, sexy and did such an awesome job of talking about disability and intimate partner abuse. The dialogue about the emotional trauma was well done. The main characters were genuine and vulnerable. I laughed out loud so many times and also felt all the feels. ( ) Okay, I get the Hibbert hype now- this was super cute! I loved the overall premise, and honestly the two main characters are just such adorable dorks that it was easy to be charmed by and root for them the whole time. “Button” has stolen the top spot for my favorite pet name/nickname in a contemporary romance- I was so sweetened by that. Chloe has chronic pain and has turned into a bit of a hermit and Red is an artist who got burned badly by his last girlfriend and has a lot of confidence issues. He's nice, she's pretty, they live in the same building and sparks fly. But it's all sparks and no real substance. It's all fine but not my particular romance novel jam. Sex scenes and the language are a little more raunchy than in most novels with this kind of cute cartoon cover....you might not want to suggest this one to your Mom. LOL Good escape fiction for the pandemic though. I WANT LOVE LIKE CHLOE AND RED!!! omg this book was so sweet and steamy! if happiness was a book it would be this one. i really liked how tender and attentive Red was to Chloe's chronic condition.. such a gentleman. Chloe is so strong and smart and hilarious and Red is so swoony and kind and loving and MY HEART IS SO FULL. this book is equal parts romance and sexy and it's just a cute story sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

HTML: "Absolutely charming... a flawless balance of humor, heat, sweetness, and depth, and I loved every page." ?? Helen Hoang, USA Today bestselling author of The Bride Test USA TODAY BESTSELLER A witty, hilarious romantic comedy about a woman who's tired of being "boring" and recruits her mysterious, sexy neighbor to help her experience new things??perfect for fans of Sally Thorne, Jasmine Guillory, and Helen Hoang! Chloe Brown is a chronically ill computer geek with a goal, a plan, and a list. After almost??but not quite??dying, she's come up with seven directives to help her "Get a Life", and she's already completed the first: finally moving out of her glamorous family's mansion. The next items? Enjoy a drunken night out. Ride a motorcycle. Go camping. Have meaningless but thoroughly enjoyable sex. Travel the world with nothing but hand luggage. And... do something bad.But it's not easy being bad, even when you've written step-by-step guidelines on how to do it correctly. What Chloe needs is a teacher, and she knows just the man for the job. Redford 'Red' Morgan is a handyman with tattoos, a motorcycle, and more sex appeal than ten-thousand Hollywood heartthrobs. He's also an artist who paints at night and hides his work in the light of day, which Chloe knows because she spies on him occasionally. Just the teeniest, tiniest bit. But when she enlists Red in her mission to rebel, she learns things about him that no spy session could teach her. Like why he clearly resents Chloe's wealthy background. And why he never shows his art to anyone. And what really lies beneath his rough exterior... "This is an extraordinary book, full of love, generosity, kindness and sharp humor." ??
