Each Chapter begins with a huge comic book like heading followed by a magazine-like spread about something relating to the heading. It should lend itself well to kids who enjoy reading National Geographic Kids and Ranger Rick. It is the first book I have seen with a section (albeit a small one) dedicated to bird nostrils! Love the cover, love the book. It's one smelly adventure after another and will definitely enjoy an audience with middle school students. Great for a read aloud, it will hold interest and create a lot of oohs and yucks. The glossy pages are solid backgrounds in lime green, orange, white and baby blue with large headlines and the writing is 14 pt. easy to read with double spacing between lines. The photographs are first-rate, page layouts are eye catching without being distracting and the text is scientific yet accessible and relevant to the whole planet! Marilyn Singer's meticulous research is extensive and this book is a real stinker sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
