The first part was a bit strange, but it fitted with Carters state of mind and I found it intriguing. The ending was a bit too deus ex machina. It would have been a greater ending if Ox had died in my opinion. Nevertheless I am happy he lived. Whatever the end, I enjoyed reading this and it is a fitting end to a great series. What a finale. If you've loved this series, you want this last part. This is Carter's story. Stupid Carter eventually sees. It's a lot, this ending. I used a lot of tissues while reading. Should've bought stock in Puffs. I usually dislike shifter stories, but from the first words in the first book, this world captured me. And despite my non-trivia brain, within a page of starting this last installment I was right back in it, as if I'd never left. Magic is real, y'all. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

In the ruins of Caswell, Maine, Carter Bennett learned the truth of what had been right in front of him the entire time. And then it-he-was gone. Desperate for answers, Carter takes to the road, leaving family and the safety of his pack behind, all in the name of a man he only knows as a feral wolf. But therein lies the danger: wolves are pack animals, and the longer Carter is on his own, the more his mind slips toward the endless void of Omega insanity. But he pushes on, following the trail left by Gavin. Gavin, the son of Robert Livingstone. The half-brother of Gordo Livingstone. What Carter finds will change the course of the wolves forever. Because Gavin's history with the Bennett pack goes back further than anyone knows, a secret kept hidden by Carter's father, Thomas Bennett. And with this knowledge comes a price: the sins of the fathers now rest upon the shoulders of their sons. Contains mature themes. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

The evil is pretty evil. But with some back story. Obviously, the guy was morally deficient even before anything happened, and after, he takes it to ridiculous levels.
I think the magic bits are a bit fairy tale. How it works is not clear, and why it never works as expected for the evil guy is hardly ever clear either.
But that's not really the point. The point is a loyal heart warming group of people who fight together against evil. Chosen family. Mystical moon magic. ( )
