CC was 14 at the time. One is familiar with accounts of the segregated South in the context of the Civil Rights era; this book, written in 1937 and continuously in print since, cannot envision the collapse of a system so solidly buttressed by every legal, and more importantly, psychological support. Fortunately the author's Freudian sympathies are not overly obtrusive. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
