The book Civil war is a war between superheroes which is split up into 2 sides, team Ironman or team Captain America. The story starts off with a group of rookie teenagers superheroes trying to take down some A rank villans. When the rookies ambush them they start to get cocky since they caught 5 out of 6 of the villains. While they have the other villain pinned to a bus. The villain sets off a nuke causing the whole city to explode killing everyone but a few survivors. A few hours later the pro heroes are looking for survivors but they only find 12 survivors and a couple of corpses. While this is happening the media is putting out protests' to ban superheroes. This pushes the president corner because if he doesn't ban them he isn't gonna win his election coming up and if he does ban them super villains will just get away with stuff. So he decides to make a counteroffer to make the heroes official. The media loves the idea but some of the heroes don't love the idea so, this causes a rift in the superheroes relationships. A few hours later Spider-man decided to unmask himself in front of millions which is a bad idea. After that meeting a lot of superheroes decide to go underground to join captain America and some just decide to retired being heroes. While that same night Ironman placed a trap so he could have a talk with captain America. It ends up failing and the heroes all start to fight. Since the Iron-man team has a lot of people the Captain America team is getting decimated. While they are about to fall back a clone of thor kills bill foster another superhero. This leads a couple of heroes going to Captain Americas side. Before Spider-man went underground he decided to confront Iron-Man about the clone of thor killing Bill and Him hiring villans. They also get ina fight but Spider-Man leaves before they can arrest him. So shield tells some of the villans to go capture Spider-man before he can get to captain America. While Spider-man is underground he is stopped by three villains who beat him into a bloody pulp. They were about to kill him until punisher shoots the three villains in the head bringing him to captain America. After a while when Spider-man recovers a couple of villans enter the base they are in and offer to help them. Before captain America could accept Punisher shoots and kills both of them causing Captain America to kick him out of the team. As both teams prepare for the final showdown there is a spy on Iron-mans team who released some of the superheroes that iron-man arrested. While the Heroes are fighting the New-York city is slowly being ripped apart with buildings on fire. While Captain America is hammering down on Iron-man a few citizens jump onto him and they tell him to stop and look at the mess he made. After Captain-America realizes this he decides to turn himself in.

I would rate this a 4 since the story has two different sides to it. It shows how superheroes being apart would effect everyone. It's kinda like the Holocaust since it took one thing to split the jews up. The cover art is really nice and the story really isn't confusing since its in order unlike some books where they start in the middle of the story and have flash backs later.
