A bit more emphasis on the MCs lack of life experience would have helped a few times. A handful of grammatical errors, but not so many as to destroy the narrative. I will buy the next book. I'm not feeling the romance. Maybe there isn't supposed to be any romance and this is just a paranormal book.
I also feel like Erin is just too good to be true. Why does every man on the planet have the hots for her and everyone thinks she can solve world hunger? It is just too much.
Despite my misgivings, there is some things about the series that I like. The secondary characters are more interesting and loveablethan the protagonist. Lizzy is smart and perky. Sam is powerful and dependable like a father figure. I like Flynn because he's been nothing but respectable.
I'm going to read the next book. (
