This book follows children with varying disabilities and what they need/how they navigate they disability. Each child introduces themselves, talks about what they like, introduces their disability, and then talks about what they do to life with that disability. The author introduces the idea of how these are powers and how our world is the way it is because of our disabilities. I love this story and can think of so many ways to integrate with into classroom at primary and intermediate ages. 1. I would recommend this book to any elementary students. 2.This book goes through the stories of many kids who have disabilities and explains what it is like from their perspective. In the book after each person talks there is a question asked. 3.I absolutely LOVE this book and will DEFINITELY have this book in my classroom. It includes so many different disabilities and even ADHD which is rarely seen in books. Picture book about a variety of kids with a variety of disabilities. Ranging from autism, to a peanut allergy, the kids share what makes them different in a positive light! I loved this book! This book does such a great job at showcasing so many different disabilities, and some that people might not even think about. The illustrations were beautiful and very well detailed. It was so cool to even see some of the disabilities that I have in this book! I would definitely have this book in my classroom, 100%! I would use this book for 1-2 graders. Great book for primary to early intermediate. Book on how classes at school and all people are made differently and uniquely. Great book for teaching children a little bit about a lot of common disabilities you may see in the classroom. Doesn't go in depth on the disabilities, it is very surface level, but it would be good for making it seems normal in the classroom for kids to have differences. Doesn't explain the struggles these kids with disabilities have to go through, its only looks on the Brightside. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
