WHAT I LIKED: Busy Isobel. She is so adorable.

England, June 1194 The thick roots ran deep beneath the stump, but Hugh just smiled. This wasn’t the first challenge he had ever encountered in his life and it wouldn’t be the last. He shoved the spade into the earth and glanced at the peasant lad making short jabs into the soft dirt on the other side of the trunk. The sun had not reached its zenith, and if they were at all lucky, their work would be finished before the noontide meal. Even so, the boy’s wrinkled brow shone with sweat and he wore a look of irritation.

...so you see, Father, everything we do, God can change for the better even if we make bad decisions. The Lord can turn them around for our good if we let Him. Many times we think we are doing the right thing, when actually God has a totally different plan for us.
