Fiction. Romance. HTML:

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Ashley comes a new story in her Dream Man series...

Charlotte "Lottie" McAlister is in the zone. She's ready to take on the next chapter of her life, and since she doesn't have a man, she'll do what she's done all along. She'll take care of business on her own. Even if that business means starting a family.

The problem is, Lottie has a stalker. The really bad kind. The kind that means she needs a bodyguard.

Enter Mo Morrison.

Enormous. Scary.

Quiet.

Mo doesn't say much, and Lottie's used to getting attention. And she wants Mo's attention. Badly.

But Mo has a strict rule. If he's guarding your body, that's all he's doing with it.

However, the longer Mo has to keep Lottie safe, the faster he falls for the beautiful blonde who has it so together, she might even be able to tackle the demons he's got in his head that just won't die.

But in the end, Lottie and Mo don't only have to find some way to keep hands off until the threat is over, they have to negotiate the overprotective Hot Bunch, Lottie's crazy stepdad, Tex, Mo's crew of frat-boy commandos, not to mention his nutty sisters.

All before Lottie finally gets her Dream Man.

And Mo can lay claim to his Dream Girl.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it's an introduction to an author's world. And for fans, it's a bonus book in the author's series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

I originally skipped this one as I don't normally read novella's. I feel cheated when they are so short most of the time. Anyway, I read Danny and Evie's book first but loved Mo and Lottie. I found out this one was their full length story. It was so GOOD! I absolutely loved every minute of it with so many LOL moments too! My favorite couple of this series so far. Well done K A! ( )

This is a sweet story.

For those who have been fans of the Rock Chick series, this is a much awaited book about Lottie, Jet's sister who we met in book 2 of the series.

We know she was a stripper and she was very good at it, velvet rope.
Mo was mentioned briefly as one of Hawk's men in a previous book but we didn't really know much about him, think it may have been the Choas book, Free.

I am a fan of a brooding, quiet Hero, Mo is just that, he doesn't talk much but I loved that Lottie see as he communicates with body language and facial expressions.

They pretty much fall for each other straight away but as she is technically 'a job' he doesn't want to go there as it would put her at risk if his concentration is not 100%.

There are lots of appearances from previous characters and couples from previous books by the author, including Hawk, the Nightingale boys, Smithie, Jet, Tex and her mum.

We also meet some of Mo's team and their issues and histories with women which opens up interest in future story lines.

Lottie has a deranged stalker but there is nothing on page, it's all dealt with third hand so no on page violence or abuse etc. She has Ben sent letters and we are spared the details of that too but get the responses from the protective men who read it.

There is ex drama for Mo, the ex does get a mention quite a lot but only in that he can see how much the relationship was wrong, not aure I liked that, I felt at times I would have liked it more vague.
Mo wasn't a manwhore type, he was in committed relationships in his past.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
No cheating.
No flirting.
A little OTT at times, in a similar vein to Rock Chick series.
Lots of family drama and dynamic, some laughs.
As usual with KA it reads like a normal authors novel not a novella as KA's books always seem much longer than average.
HEA.
Epilogue.
Also at the end is an introduction to the next book. ( )

Perfect timing. I was just finishing the Rock Chick series when I got the notification that this was released. Knowing it was Lottie I knew I needed to read it. I hadn't read anything from Dream Man before now but this didn't stop me from enjoying this one. If anything it made me want to discover more of them. Plus Mo's friends having me very excited. May 2020 seems so far away!

Great characters, perfect balance of previous characters and smoldering chemistry. Loved it. ( )
