I lost interest in the Quinn series a few years back. They got a little same-y. The mystical Eastern retreat. And as if Q & O's romance wasn't bad enough, Battles had to introduce Q's little sister Liz and cook up a relationship with her and Nate. Ugh. When I figured out that Liz was dead in this one, I thought I'd be safe, but no. She's actually worse! More of a sanctimonious, self-righteous prig than before if that can be imagined. And is she just a voice in his guilt-addled head or a ghost? Either way, Nate's an idiot and so one and done. ( )
