Which is where I started this series. But wow, I found Maisey Yates' endless internal explanation of the characters' feelings heavy going. I both loved it and hated it. Still, the depth of feeling that this approach conveyed did pull me in and create an all-consuming experience in reading the novel. Since this was my first Maisey Yates, I gave this 4 stars, but in the next book in the series, this one - while I rooted for the characters and thought it was another beautiful love story, I couldn't be so generous with my rating as I felt the story wasn't strong enough to sustain the technique. Especially after reading a Sarah McLean novel in between, which was so slickly written. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
