I know David Bell writes decently, and although this book’s premise was a bit unique, the writing really ng lacked...something. I found myself getting annoyed at little things. Boy meets girl in airport. Girl has secrets and is (kind of) on the run. Boy chases Girl all over half the country to learn her secrets. I found Boy to be a bit cavemanish and Girl was a bitch. I just didn’t really connect with any of the characters, except foster mom Valerie. She was pretty cool. 3.5 stars rounded up. I have mixed feelings about this book.
