I chronically lose things so I can identify with the whole misplaced stuffed animal concept pretty easily. This was a good story. You ought to read it. ( ) What really made this review work is Vanessa's story about her daughter wanting to make her own Plaidypus. Read Vanessa's review at Silly Eagle Books. Genre: Realistic Fiction Media: Ink and Color Wash Age Appropriateness: Primary This story is about a little girl and her stuffed platypus. The title says Plaidypus because it is made out of her Grandmas plaid shirt. Throughout the book she keeps loosing her plaidypus in different places. She always finds him and one time he has a rip. Luckily grandma patches him up and then he is known as Plaida-Polka-Stripapus. This book is a good example of realistic fiction because this could happen and does happen. Many children loose and find animals constantly and one day they have to be fixed. The plot is important to this book because the saying is, "Plaidypus lost. Plaidypus found. This story goes around and around." That is said after each time she looses him. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
