Valerie Hansen’s upcoming novel is filled with mystery, an on again and off again romance, and suspense. The two main characters are EMT Sara Southerland and Adam Kane. These two grew up in the small town of Paradise and were separated when Adam signed up to serve after high school. Now, Adam is home working as a firefighter and on his ranch with horses as well as trying to keep Sara alive.
When both are at a fire, someone takes a couple of shots at Sara while she is focused on the safety of the firefighters in a building with oxygen tanks. Sara is at a place emotionally where her heart is broken and she questions herself a lot. She is not sure whether or not Adam is attracted to her because they were close in high school or if he truly is attracted to her as the woman she is now. Someone or perhaps more than one person is stalking Sara, and Adam can’t seem to get Sara to realize just how much danger she really is in!
I thoroughly enjoyed the tension and climactic conclusion to this latest from Love Inspired. I am hoping you will too. These types of books are clean, engaging and entertaining all at the same time. Plus, they are easy to pack and short enough to read in a matter of a day or two. So, look for Valerie’s book coming in February 2019. ( )
