This book is amazing, it's so good.

Eli and Jen Montgomery.
Eli is a character who appears in 'The Killers' series book 2 and Jen is from 'The Caprino' series, 'Athica Lane' book 3, she is Cam's sister.

Eli is totally bowled over by her once they meet, he is alpha, jealous possessive.
Jen is a strong heroine, she is stepping up to be future CEO of her father's company. She is a hard worker and has had to be strong to succeed.
Both Hero and heroine have had past relationships but have not been involved with anyone for some time.
Eli was recently under cover with the Mob so couldn't risk romantic involvement and Jen has been a workaholic and has difficulty in the past with relationships, finding the men either are intimidated by her paycheck or want to use her to climb the corporate ladder.
It was refreshing that although they are very different financially, it wasn't a huge issue.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
No cheating.
No details of previous partners or ex drama.
Excellent secondary characters.
Catch up with characters from previous books.
Hints about possible future storylines as breadcrumbs are dropped about other characters.
HEA.

A other fantastic book from an author that is quickly becoming one of my favorites.her stories always have a depth to them that I appreciate.It makes me get more invested in the characters. Storyline was filled with suspense and intriguing puzzles to figure out.Great character development and connection between Eli and Jen.fantastic steamy moments that were balanced around the story.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I couldn't put this book down. What a great read and great start to a new chapter. I cannot wait for the rest of this series. I loved Jen and Eli. Their chemistry is off the charts!!! There was drama, romance, twist and turns. I read this book cover to cover. I want more!! I loved that we got to hear from some of our Carpino favorites too!! I loved their relationship. I didn't start out in a traditional way but then they got together it was fireworks!!! Great read and great new series. Can't wait for whats next. ( )
