He is a compassionate judge of other outsiders and an astute analyst of antisocial behavior. In this book, two corpes are found in the Canal. A man and a woman, arm in arm, hand in hand, fingers entwined. As other couples are found in the same death hug, DeKok starts his search for the killer. Because each of the couples had a link to a religious sect, Dekok and his partner, Vledder, had a lead. But what was the motive, and who did the crime? Interesting all the way through the book and I was unable to put it down. Thankfully, I am retired, or I may have had to quit my job to read this delightful series. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Two corpses are found in Emperors Canal. A man and a woman. Arm in arm, hand in hand, the fingers entwined. Autopsy concludes drowning as the cause of death. But KeKok is not convinced. He has never heard of this type of drowning. Together? Without a struggle? Is this a double suicide, or a macabre joke? Baantjer takes the reader on a tour of Holland, his beloved city of Amsterdam and inside a religious sect. Vledder is stunned when they discover the cause.
