Our hero Hubie is assigned a project that he has to come up with for the Science Fair. The formula is the same. Hubie gets the assignment. He gets his friends feedback as to what they are doing. He comes up with his own idea for it and it turns out to be a success in the end.
Now, this book in particular, is a great tool to teach the early readers about Puns. It is very Punny as I would call it. Full of double meanings that don't really make sense when you look at them literally. However, when you take the second meaning of the word or phrase, it is very humorous.
The standard print is good for the early reader and the pictures drawn in there are very funny and gives a sense of what is going on in the story.
I highly recommend this series for the kids. I am certainly enjoying them. ( )
