A reminder that you don't need anyone's permission to do what you want to do, you just need to keep on your path. I'm sure I'll read this one 10 more times this year. Simple and highly inspirational. I love that he's shredding the idea that one's passion or hobby should be turned into a vehicle to make money. I love these books, and pick one up every time a new one comes out. Quick read, lots of pats on the back and "go get 'em, tiger!"'s to encourage people to be creative. While I enjoyed it and still read his blog every day, this is his third book in this series, and I honestly couldn't tell you how it is different from the first two. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Instead, I found practical and infinitely approachable tips, tactics, and suggestions for actually leading a creative life in good times and in bad (just like the subtitle promises). I thought Kleon's previous books were fun but ultimately forgettable. This one, however, knocked me over the head with unexpected wisdom for a life philosophy that seems both urgent and incredibly relevant. I'm so grateful I grabbed this when I did. It's found a permanent spot on my home library shelf. ( )
