I would suggest reading the first book in the series first as it's referred to quite a bit and events from that book lead to the situation in this book.
The story is both hilarious (crying laughing) and sad.
Jessie and Ilsa.
Lots of scenes with the couple from the first book too.
Jessie and Ilsa are both vulnerable from bad experiences in their past.
This love/hate relationship grows in to something more.

Its typical RVD, a bit crazy.

She loves colors but is addicted to lists, notes and highlighters. The clash of personalities is heightened by the sexual attraction they try to resist.
Throw in a crazy Chinese aunt who is insisting on marriage and grandbabies and you have a delightful, delicious dessert of a story that keeps you hanging and wanting more in a way that only Rachel Van Dyken can do.

Even better than the first book. This book reminded me a lot of the Bet series (with the tea) and had me laughing out loud in certain parts. If you ever want a laugh with plenty chemistry between the characters then this is the book for you.
